The Cain Daytona is the lighter — though by no means "light" — expression of the Cain line, a Studio Tobac project produced by Oliva in Estelí, Nicaragua. A Nicaraguan puro through and through, the Daytona is built entirely from Jalapa Valley tobacco: a Habano wrapper over a Jalapa binder and a filler core that includes the refined, lower-intensity Jalapa ligero.
The result is a cigar that eases off the gas pedal compared to the original Cain F or Cain Habano — still full-strength, but with the spice tempered into a more polished, balanced profile. Notes of cedar, oak, cocoa, and spice define the smoke, with the all-Jalapa construction giving the cigar a cohesive flavor signature throughout the burn.
