The Micallef Herencia Maduro is the dark-wrapper companion to the Herencia Habano — wrapping a Nicaraguan Maduro leaf around an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers. It was the first maduro-wrapped cigar brought to market by Micallef, and earned a 93 rating from Cigar & Spirits Magazine.

The flavor opens with rich chocolate and smooth coffee at the front, joined by an earthy core and a touch of cedar through the middle third. As the cigar progresses, a slight pepper heat emerges on the finish, balanced by a quiet sweetness underneath that keeps the heavier notes from turning bitter.
